BATH TUB TEST: It doesn't hurt to take a hard look at yourself from time to time, and this should help get you started.

During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director what the criterion was which defined whether or not a patient should be institutionalized.

I found it to be of a humbling experience...ya see, I am a nice person (perhaps too nice at times), but I rather associate with the lowly than with folks so eager to use and abuse.  Now, don't get me wrong, I will hustle--ya know it's hard out here for a pimpette, ha--but I won't hurt someone to one-up 'em.  "Things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle."  Abraham Lincoln

Minister Virgie ~~~~~ Wow, I sooo needed that--was dealing with some pretty foolish and jealous people the last couple of days but they were only in my life for a time and I KICKED THEM OUT!  Whew, it's all good! "PEOPLE COME INTO YOUR LIFE FOR A REASON, SEASON OR A LIFETIME"....time to revisit

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person..
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support,
to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time,
this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons,
things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson,
love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

I miss seeing my designs go down the runway on Tues & Sat---waaaah but pictures will speak volumes to me: BELIEVE ME, I DO OPEN MY EYES WIDE & L-I-S-T-E-N!!!!!!

I was amazed to find out my designs were in 2 shows in the last week!!!!  YIPPEE!  The boutique, IN VOGUE CREATIONS, had an opportunity to showcase their designs.... I can't wait to see the pictures and the models!

These are 3 Beautiful African princesses:  Alexis, Bemi, Ja'el in traditional African Flair! 

Hopefully I will be inspired to do a mixture of Crochet & African material...it's there, bubbling underneath the surface!

Too bad, as I was sewing a hat today, my needle broke so I have to wait until tomorrow to buy a set....oh well, I needed the rest--SLEEP ya know; I believe I've done 3 shows (so far, wink, wink) this month and gotta get ready for next month! 

The pics in the slide show are just a few that I reminded myself to take--backstage can be so hectic but I go with the flow!  I made 5 new ensembles, even working up until my ride Fashion shows are a kicker but I try to rest up for a whole day before starting sojemtjing new since it saps so much of my energy--working under pressure thang. 

The show went very well and I & the models rec'd a -- drum roll please -

STANDING OVATION!!!! 

I love it--the crowd's energy was infectious! 

It was for a gr8 cause--Breast Cancer!  Met some gr8 folks and looking forward to more events on the horizon

but let me rest--I AM EXHAUSTED!  ooooh, phone ringing--who can that be?
